After making several language versions, a practical question appeared: what happens when all four land in the same feed? Viewers may skip the versions they don't understand. The next experiment is one account per language—not one account per country.

Today's mission: explore a workflow that retrieves a French post, translates it, adapts the lips and prepares versions for the other language accounts. The translated videos are real. Automatic publishing is the next part of the experiment.

Before the first recording

Good content. The wrong language.

While helping a yoga school in Chiang Mai with its website and online training, Cédric wanted his mother and sister to take the course. The content was in English. They spoke French. The knowledge was there; the language stood in the way.

That question became AltaCross: could a creator or educator film naturally in one language, then share the same message with people who speak another? We started by testing it on our own videos.

Chapter /

The language excuse, put to the test.

Speaking to a camera is already a step outside your comfort zone. Doing it in a second language adds another barrier. Cédric recorded the story in French, showed the translated example, and invited people to follow the experiment with his cofounder.

Keep the original performance as the starting point. Let viewers hear the result for themselves.
